Our Mission:

Creating Elite Sleepers

Prioritizing Sleep
Sleep quality impacts every aspect of human health and performance. If you want to be elite at anything, you must first become an Elite Sleeper! Yet, in today’s 24/7 society, sleep is the first thing we sacrifice to meet the growing demands of work, family, and friends.

We aim to create a society of Elite Sleepers by: (1) changing the way we prioritize sleep; (2) delivering evidence based sleep science in a language everyone can understand and apply; and (3) providing the training and tools necessary to improve sleep health – without drugs.

Calling All Shift Workers
In 2010 the World Health Organization determined: “Shift work that involves circadian disruption is probably carcinogenic to humans.” Shift work also increases risk of: Obesity, Type 2 Diabetes, Sleep Apnea, Cardiovascular Disease, and Dementia.

Shift work is a killer… but it doesn’t have to be! We can help you reduce your risk.

Why must we prioritize sleep health?

Sleep 101

  • Sleep is Vital

Healthy sleep is critical for growth, repair, and restoration of our brain and body. Poor sleep health increases risk, severity, and progression of chronic conditions including: obesity, type 2 diabetes, cancer, cardiovascular disease, and dementia.

  • Sleep Washes Our Brain

Our brain is like an engine that produces exhaust. This toxic waste accumulates throughout our brain. Each night, sleep literally washes our brain of the day’s waste. Sustained wakefulness beyond 16 hours impairs health and performance.

  • Sleep & Aging

Sleep quality and duration decreases with age, but not because we need less sleep. Recent advances in sleep science prove the critical importance of protecting sleep health, even for older adults. We can help you sleep better – without drugs.

What is Elite Sleep?

It’s yours to discover.
Elite Sleep is best described as achieving optimal sleep health, which goes well beyond time spent in bed trying to sleep. Optimal sleep health isn’t just about how long you slept, it’s about getting the sleep you actually need.

Every day is different, and these differences shape the sleep we need each night. Becoming an Elite Sleeper requires an understanding of sleep science, learning how it applies to us as individuals, and discovering what it takes to prepare our brain and body for optimal sleep health.
We can help you prioritize and improve your sleep health.
